Title your page first!

Then launch Elementor

Adding Sections

Use the plus sign to add a section above.

Choose the number of columns you want. Later you can hover over a column and right click on the icon in the upper left.

Then use the handle (6 boxes) to drag it around.

Tip: Most of the time, you'll want to “Stretch” the section. Right click on the handle and turn on the “Stretch Section” toggle in the left panel.

Adding and Updating Content

Headers (H3)

  • In WordPress, there is only one H1. It's reserved for the title of the page. Here: “Sean's Demo Page”
  • “Adding Content” is an H2

Header 4 (H4)

Header 5 (H5)
Header 6 (H6)

Use headers hierarchically – like an outline – to make your pages easy to navigate for users using a screen reader.

Text and Images

To create text, drag a text widget into a section.

To add an image:

  1. Drag the image widget into the section.
  2. Select it.
  3. Click “Choose Image” in the left panel.

This is an Image Box widget.

It styles your image title and caption all at once. It also links to AAFront.

Carousels

Image Carousel

Image Carousel's are just for slide shows. If you want the pictures to link to resources, use a Media Carousel.

  1. Go to the WordPress Admin
  2. Find Customize–>Menu
  3. Edit the WP Training 2021 menu
  4. Add your page

Add to an eLink Press page

  1. Login to eLink
  2. Choose WP Training 2021 Press
  3. Find a news story
  4. Copy and paste the URL into eLink
  5. Refresh this page
